Moving in Akron
Akron is a city of neighborhoods, and each one moves a little differently. In Highland Square and West Akron it's older two-story homes with narrow staircases and street parking that has to be worked out before the truck arrives. Firestone Park, Wallhaven and Ellet are mostly single-family streets where the driveway does the work. August is its own season here. University of Akron students move in and out in the same few weeks, so if you need a weekend that month, book early. Though there some tight corners and tricky steps with which they had to deal, the hevy exercise machine move was handled quickly and well.
